The Federal Minister of Food and Agriculture Cem Özdemir visited the LEHNER Maschinenbau GmbH in Westerstetten at the end of October.
LEHNER is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of innovative solutions powered by 12 volts in the fields of agriculture, winter maintenance and special machinery. The main interest of the delegation around Özdemir was thereby a wolf fence winding equipment newly developed by LEHNER for the herd protection before the wolf.
The 6-headed delegation as well as the member of the Bundestag Hermann Färber, who was also a guest, used their approx. 2-hour visit to get as much information as possible from owner Helmut Lehner and the two managing directors Thomas Renz and Ralf Hübner about these and upcoming innovations in the field of 12-volt technology from LEHNER, to exchange ideas intensively and to share experiences. Despite the very tight schedule, Federal Minister Cem Özdemir did not miss the opportunity to personally convince himself of the high standards and the enormous innovative power that LEHNER has been demonstrating for more than 25 years in the development and production of its 12-volt technology “Made in Germany” during the final factory tour.
As LEHNER announced, the conclusion of an all-around successful appointment, with extremely constructive and interesting discussions, which was certainly very informative for both sides.
