POLARO® E – professional winter service with a certain added value

With the POLARO® E, you can spread salt, grit, sand, and also fertiliser using virtually any vehicle having a 12 V supply, e.g. a private car, pickup, lorry, wheel loader, mini tractor, quad bike, etc.

The frame of the POLARO® E already contains all the holes required for mounting. By steplessly adjusting the spreader disc’s rotational speed from the control panel, you can infinitely adjust the spreading width from 0.8 m (footpath) to 6 m (e.g. parking space) while on the move. In addition, the POLARO® E can also control the dosage of the amount discharge rate via the control panel.

The POLARO® E offers, including:

  • Stepless adjustment of working width from 0.8 – 6.0 m (up to 12 m as an option)
  • Operation via LAS 4 control panel from the cab/driver’s seat
  • Electronic, stepless adjustment of the spreading dosage
  • One-sided spreading possible
  • Frame, valve, and spreading disc made from non-rusting stainless steel as standard
  • Cables protected in waterproof junction box
  • Autostart separates agglomerated spreading material

Special features of the POLARO® E

LAS control panel as standard
Spreading with comfort and convenience – the LAS 4 control panel with empty indicator.

As well as setting the working width by infinitely adjusting the rotational speed of the spreading disc, all other switching functions are also controlled via the control panel. These include On/Off, setting the adjustment valve for spreading dosage, checking the voltage, etc. What’s more, the control panel issues a visual and acoustic warning when the hopper level is down to minimum or the valve is not in position.

The dosage of the POLARO® E is also adjusted on the control panel. Enjoy even greater convenience with speed-dependent dosage via the AUTO-DOSIS control unit.

The patented LEHNER agitator system guarantees a continuous flow of free-flowing material.

OPTIONAL: AUTO-DOSIS

AUTO-DOSIS automatically adjusts the valve position in line with the driving speed.

After you have selected the material, entered the desired spreading width and quantity per
m², the AUTO-DOSIS automatically reacts to driving conditions and controls the dosing valve accordingly. The desired discharge quantity per m² remains constant.

1. AUTO-DOSIS via 7-pin signal socket
Here, the travel speed is recorded via the 7-pin signal socket on the vehicle. In this version, the signal socket also provides the headland management system.

2. AUTO-DOSIS via GPS receiver
The speed is determined by GPS and forwarded to the control panel.
